What are the responsibilities and job description for the UI Designer position at Green Cabbage Inc.?
Green Cabbage is looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI Designer to help shape the look and feel of our growing suite of products, including OneWorkspace, Client Care, and Forensics.
This is an opportunity to be the primary visual designer across the organization: someone who can translate business needs and UX wireframes into elegant, usable, and consistent digital experiences. You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and our UX Designer to define and evolve our design system as we modernize and scale our platform.
If you’re excited about taking ownership, wearing many hats, and leaving a visible design fingerprint on a real SaaS product ecosystem, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do
- Create high-fidelity mockups, visual assets, and interactive prototypes for both web and internal tools.
- Maintain and expand our design system, including typography, color, iconography, and component standards.
- Collaborate with UX and Product teams to bring user journeys to life with clean, intuitive interfaces.
- Work directly with front-end engineers to ensure smooth design handoff and pixel-perfect implementation.
- Translate complex data and workflows into visual clarity through thoughtful layouts and hierarchy.
- Provide input on brand expression and visual identity as we evolve our client-facing experience.
- Contribute to a culture of iteration, feedback, and learning: design, test, refine, repeat.
- Work with C-Suite and stakeholders to define & refine the product design strategy.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years of professional UI or digital product design experience.
- A portfolio demonstrating clean, modern UI design for web or SaaS applications.
- Proficiency in Figma (preferred) or similar tools (Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Strong understanding of layout, color, typography, and responsive design.
- Demonstrated expertise in information architecture principles.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design best practices.
- Basic familiarity with component libraries and front-end frameworks.
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally and giving/receiving feedback.
- Bonus: experience with UX research, design tokens, or light HTML/CSS.
