Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the pool area to ensure safety.
- Enforce pool rules and respond to emergencies, including administering first aid and CPR.
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool and whirlpool areas.
- Assist guests, including individuals with disabilities, in a friendly manner.
- Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management.
- Assist with towel management and other poolside duties.
- Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with guests.
Qualifications:
- Active Deep-Water Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications are required. Certification courses are offered through the club, and attendance will be required on a date to be scheduled.
- Must be able to swim 300 yards using front crawl and breaststroke.
- Ability to tread water for 2 minutes and retrieve a brick from the bottom of the pool.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform rescues effectively.
- Ability to remain on your feet for long periods and respond quickly in emergency situations.
- Must be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including heat, sun exposure, wind, rain, and fluctuating temperatures, while maintaining alertness and ensuring patron safety.
