Job Description:
Green Bay Area Public School District is seeking certified candidates for a full-time Bilingual Grade 1 teaching position beginning with the 2025–26 school year.
We are looking for an educator who thrives in a student-centered environment, values close family-school partnerships, and embraces data-informed, results-driven practices to support shared accountability and continuous improvement. As part of the Nicolet Community Elementary team, you'll work alongside colleagues who are deeply committed to the success of every learner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction in both English and the partner language (Spanish preferred) in core academic areas
- Support language development while promoting content mastery in math, reading, and other subjects
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, and support staff to ensure holistic student success
- Foster a physically and emotionally safe classroom environment grounded in respect and community
- Participate in school-wide initiatives aligned with academic and social-emotional learning goals
- Maintain accurate records and monitor individual progress
- Engage in ongoing professional development and shared learning with the Wilder staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Wisconsin teaching license with Bilingual Certification or eligibility
- Bilingual proficiency (Spanish preferred)
- Strong commitment to inclusive and culturally responsive instruction
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Dedication to collaboration and reflective practice
