Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Analyst with expertise in LCMS (Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry), GCMS (Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry), ICPMS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry), and HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) for cannabis compliance testing. As a Laboratory Analyst, you will be responsible for performing analytical testing, data analysis, and ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cannabis sample preparation and analysis using LCMS, GCMS, ICPMS, and HPLC techniques.
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of laboratory instruments.
  • Generate accurate and reliable analytical data within specified turnaround times.
  • Review and interpret analytical results, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
  • Document all laboratory activities, including sample information, procedures, and results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical issues and provide support.
  • Stay updated with current cannabis testing regulations, industry trends, and scientific advancements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with laboratory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in LCMS, GCMS, ICPMS, and HPLC techniques.
  • Proficient in sample preparation, method development, and method validation.
  • Familiarity with cannabis compliance testing regulations and requirements is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a regulated laboratory environment (ISO 17025, cGMP, etc.).
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume testing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot instrument issues.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to quality, accuracy, and integrity in all laboratory operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
