As a GNA Instructor, You Will:
Lead classroom and clinical training sessions on patient care, infection control, safety, and communication skills.
Create a welcoming, encouraging learning environment.
Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and training materials.
Evaluate and guide students throughout their learning journey.
Ensure compliance with state and federal training regulations.
Collaborate with facility leadership to provide hands-on learning opportunities.
Stay updated on healthcare industry best practices and training standards.
What You Need to Join Us:
Active, unencumbered RN license (Maryland)
2 years of nursing experience caring for elderly or chronically ill patients (within the last 5 years)
Completed a 16-hour adult education course or 2 years of teaching experience
Completed Maryland’s Train the Trainer course
Prior supervisory experience
Ability to teach both classroom and clinical components
