Childcare Staff

Job Summary

Childcare Staff oversee the safety and well-being of all children and Transform lives with the truth of Jesus.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• None.
  
  

Duties/Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules set in place by Green Acres Baptist Church.
• Must be engaging with all children at eye level.
• Follow all lesson plans set in place by the coordinator.
• Report all incidents to the coordinator at the time of occurrence.
• Must be on time for all shifts.
• Must be dressed in appropriate and approved attire.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Patience and Flexibility: Being adaptable and patient with children’s varying needs.
• Communication Skills Effectively communicating with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Time Management: Managing multiple tasks and maintaining a structured environment.
  
  

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent-required.
• Childcare experience preferred.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting and or standing
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and squat.
