The 3rd – 5th Grade Coordinator will assist the Elementary Minister on and off-site as needed, as well as lead and oversee Elementary curriculum and volunteers for all 3rd – 5th grade classrooms.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Supervisor to 3rd – 5th grade volunteers.
- Provide volunteers and classrooms with weekly curriculum.
- Recruit and schedule all volunteers for all 3rd – 5th grade classrooms.
- Assist in the organization, promotion, implementation, and follow-up of special events including, but not limited to, Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, VBS, Camp, and mission trips.
- Work with Elementary Director in developing and implementing plans for elementary enlistment, recruitment, training, retention, and onsite coordination of summer programming including, but not limited to, VBS, camps, Family Nights, and other activities as needed.
- Must be available to work a flex schedule encompassing Wednesday nights, Sunday morning services, as well as special ministry events throughout the year.
- Coordinate, schedule, recruit, and enlist Sunday morning and Wednesday night volunteers for all 3rd – 5th grade classrooms.
- Plan and prepare alongside Elementary Director for elementary volunteer training.
- Ensure all volunteers have approved background checks and have completed volunteer onboarding checklist.
- Assist in planning and preparation of ministry events on and off-site as needed.
- Assist in preparing and ordering all marketing/print work needed for Elementary Ministry.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen as well as criminal and sexual misconduct background checks.
Education And Experience
- High school degree required; college degree preferred.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up-to 25 pounds at a time.
- The ability to work on site in the Green Acres offices.
