Position Overview
We are seeking an entrepreneurial, outgoing accountant with 3–5 years of experience to join our team. A CPA or EA is preferred but not required. You’ll work directly with clients, help expand service offerings, and contribute to building scalable systems and processes.
This is a growth‐track role with autonomy, responsibility, and the ability to earn more through production‐based compensation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of individual and business clients
- Prepare and review tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120‐S, 1065)
- Perform monthly/quarterly bookkeeping and financial statement preparation
- Conduct bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Support advisory/CAS projects such as budgeting, forecasting, and workflow improvements
- Communicate proactively with clients and provide strategic recommendations
- Assist in building internal processes, automation, and documentation
- Participate in firm growth initiatives, including client onboarding and service expansion
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of accounting or tax experience (public accounting preferred)
- CPA or EA preferred, but not required
- Strong understanding of tax law, financial statements, and accounting systems
- Experience with cloud‐based tools (QBO, UltraTax, Double, CoPilot, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills; outgoing and client‐focused
- Entrepreneurial mindset — proactive, resourceful, and excited to help grow a firm
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
