The Production Control Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating production activities to ensure the efficient processing of materials and manufacturing of products. This role leads production planning and scheduling efforts while working through supervisors and team members to ensure production goals, quality standards, and delivery timelines are met.
Salary offered: $85K-$120K annually, based on experience.
What You'll Do:
- Supervises, establishes, and coordinates the production schedules in a factory environment.
- Ensures the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between or within departments.
- Manages staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
- Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.
- Will focus heavily on maximizing the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of the production operation and final product.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Develop/maintain material and inventory control systems supporting customers with on-time delivery.
- Support material activity associated with a directed buy process and assist in resolving contract. Manage material scheduling, engineering change process, and monthly freight budgets.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with the supplier and customer.
- Support the team with material storage issues, along with shipping and receiving docks.

What We Need from You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in production control, production planning, or manufacturing operations
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Foundry preferred.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- Experience with production scheduling, inventory control, and process improvement.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
