Grounds & Maintenance Tech (Multi-site)

As a Grounds & Maintenance Technician, you'll be a welcoming face of the property, creating an exceptional experience for every guest. Your ability to anticipate needs, foster a sense of community, and coordinate seamless transitions will ensure a high standard of hospitality. By supporting the readiness and upkeep of shared spaces and contributing to a positive community atmosphere, you'll help uphold the Greco Seal of Approval, where every property has its own unique story and personality.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The essential function is to perform routine landscaping and maintenance duties to ensure the property's grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.

• Light snow removal and salting between snow vendor visits


• Efficiently and safely operate power equipment, including but not limited to snowplows, power washers, floor cleaners, edgers, and various hand tools


• Planting, applying weed control materials, and weeding; water potted exterior plantings


• Grounds management (Maintain pet relief area, trash bins, pet waste, litter, cigarette butts, exterior drain/gutter cleaning etc.)


• Amenity deck maintenance, including grill cleaning, furniture cleaning, and organization


• Pest control management outside of vendor services


• Assist with monthly turnover apartment painting


• Painting common areas and drywall repairs


• First-floor window cleaning


• Assist with monthly preventative maintenance work orders


• Conduct full property inspections


• Cross-train with site maintenance technicians


• Assist management with special event set-up and tear downs


• Develop positive relationships with residents and staff to support effective care of the property


• Attend team and company meetings and events


• Other duties as assigned

Minimum and/or Preferred Qualifications:

Salary: $20 - $23 per hour
