Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take orders, and provide recommendations on food and beverage selections.
- Utilize Toast POS for order entry and payment processing.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining attention to detail.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, including bussing tables efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
- Familiarity with Toast POS, or Resy systems is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
