Duties
- Greet members warmly and assist with their banking needs in person or via phone, ensuring a positive experience.
- Process a wide range of financial transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, cash handling, debits & credits, and check processing.
- Promote and cross-sell financial products and services such as loans, savings accounts, or credit cards to meet members’ needs.
- Identify opportunities for upselling additional services that benefit members while supporting branch goals.
- Manage member accounts using financial software systems; perform basic math calculations like retail math and cash management tasks efficiently.
- Detect and prevent potential fraud by monitoring account activity and adhering to security protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of transactions, cash handling logs, and inbound/outbound documentation for audit purposes.
- Build strong relationships with members through effective relationship management techniques to foster loyalty and trust.
Skills
- Proven experience in customer service within banking or financial services environments.
- Strong knowledge of financial sales strategies, upselling techniques, and relationship management principles.
- Familiarity with fraud prevention and detection practices to safeguard member assets.
- Skilled in cash handling, cashiering duties, and cash management procedures.
- Proficiency with financial software systems and basic math skills.
