Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math, physical education, and social skills aligned with early childhood development standards.
• Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management.
• Conduct regular assessments of child development to tailor instruction and support individual learning needs.
• Engage in classroom management strategies to maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating space for children.
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through regular updates and meetings.
• Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to safeguard children's well-being at all times.
• Incorporate special education techniques and early intervention strategies to support children with diverse learning needs.
• Plan and lead activities that promote physical development, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, lesson plans, and progress reports.
• Participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood education best practices, Montessori methods, or other specialized curricula.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; classroom experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of child development principles, early intervention techniques, and childhood education standards.
• Familiarity with curriculum development, literacy education, standardized testing preparation, and behavior management strategies.
• Associates or Bachelors Degree in ECE preferred, High school Diploma required.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community partners effectively.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate math, literacy, physical activity, and social-emotional learning.
• Experience working with diverse learners including toddlers, children with special needs or those requiring additional support.
• Knowledge of mandated reporting laws to ensure compliance with legal requirements for child safety.
• Demonstrated classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment.
• Passion for early childhood education with a commitment to fostering growth in young learners through innovative teaching methods.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
