What are the responsibilities and job description for the Casual CMA, LPN, RN-Primary Clinic position at Greater Regional Health?
Greater Regional is currently hiring a CMA, LPN, or RN for our Primary Clinics in a family practice setting! Hours are negotiable for this part time opportunity. Job duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Answer any questions and provide information to patients and families
- Rooming of patients
- Document information in patient charts, complete patient forms, and file medical records, notes, and diagnostic information
- Schedule appointments for patients, arrange hospital admissions as needed when requested by physicians accordingly
- Obtain physician approval for medication refills, relay refill information to pharmacies
- Measure and record patient's statistical data and medical history
- Perform diagnostic tests, laboratory procedures, radiological procedures, administer medications, and perform injections and immunizations
- Over the phone triage duties to help with workflow
Requirements of the job:
- Completion of an accredited medical assistant program or LPN/RN license
- Maintaining certification
- If CMA, must be an experienced CMA or CCMA to be considered
