What is needed for this job as our Group Supervisor - Teen Leadership:
-
Associates degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services and two years of experience with children.
-
Exhibit strong leadership skills.
-
Possess a passion for member service, building and maintaining a culture of member service excellence.
The responsibilities we will trust you with as our Group Supervisor - Teen Leadership:

Planning of the curriculum
-
Prepare and implement daily age/developmentally appropriate activities
-
Oversee the safety and location of all the youth in your group
-
Actively participate with the youth in all activities. Ensure proper clean up and maintenance of all materials
-
Maintain sensitivity and patience with youth and parents. Always maintain confidentiality
-
Notify the site director of any personal or programmatic problems and suggestions. Maintain paperwork (curriculum, lesson plans, parent communication, and incident reports)

Attend all necessary YMCA/DPW/DHS/OST trainings
-
Attend Staff Meetings/Team Teaching Meetings/Back to School Nights
-
Participate as a YMCA team member and contribute to the attainment of the YMCA mission

Know the mission and be able to apply it to your job responsibilities
