We are presently seeking a Part-Time Accounting Specialist at our Executive Office. With demonstrated performance, we offer an ability to work from home.
Must have a minimum of an Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred. Equivalent training and work experience may be substituted. Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work independently in a professional manner. Good analytical skills required.
Qualified candidates must be proficient in:
- Process invoices, maintain vendor records, and manage weekly payment runs while responding promptly to inquiries.
- Assist with payroll by entering data, verifying deductions, resolving discrepancies, and distributing reports.
- Handle accounts receivable tasks including preparing deposits, scanning checks, applying cash, and reconciling petty cash.
- Maintain organized financial records, prepare audit documentation, and ensure compliance with departmental requirements.
- Record journal entries and support month‑end and year‑end close processes across the general ledger.
