WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Greater Good Student Support Services is seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in providing exceptional speech therapy services to students in the K-12 school system for the 2026-2027 school year. As an integral part of our team, you will play a key role in supporting the communication and language development of students in an educational setting. Assist the supervising SLP in implementing individualized treatment plans based on student goals and needs. Support students in developing communication skills that promote success in the classroom and school environment. Prepare therapy materials, activities, and resources to support student sessions. Collect and record data on student performance and progress during therapy sessions and share findings with the supervising SLP. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided, student progress, and communication with stakeholders. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school staff under the direction of the supervising SLP to support student outcomes. Assist with clerical and organizational tasks related to speech-language services as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications: Hold an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or completion of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program approved by the state of California. Possess a current California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license. Have experience working in a school setting and familiarity with special education environments, which is preferred. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with school staff, parents, and other professionals. Show the ability to work under the supervision of a licensed SLP and follow treatment plans as directed. Be able to adapt support strategies to meet the diverse needs of students. Requirements: Demonstrate knowledge of California education laws and regulations related to special education as applicable to the SLPA role. Exhibit excellent organizational and time management skills. Maintain strong data collection and documentation skills. Show a clear commitment to supporting students’ communication development and academic success. Credential Requirements (including Certification or Education Requirements): CA State SLPA License
