What are the responsibilities and job description for the Practical Nursing Instructors (Part-time/Casual) position at Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center?
Interested candidates must possess a passion for teaching and empowering student success to prepare tomorrow’s practical nurses. Part-time/casual instructors may be responsible for didactic and clinical instruction, including oversight of students at local clinical sites. Excellent communication skills are necessary. Current PA RN licensure required. BSN preferred, or enrollment in a BSN program will be required. Maternal/child experience preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience. This is a part-time position and will include evening and weekend hours. This is a part-time, as-needed, hourly position, paying $31.50 per hour.
