Responsibilities
Receive trim box orders and construct boxes designed to securely hold trim and other building parts.
Utilize a circular saw, air stapler, metal banding, forklift, and scanner to efficiently complete tasks
Ensure all parts are correctly boxed per shipper guidelines, while capturing pictures and maintaining detailed inventory records
Leverage strong organizational and time management skills, paired with punctuality, to keep the workflow smooth and work area clean at all times
Communicate effectively through basic reading and writing skills to follow orders from the warehouse team.
Follow all safety protocols including wearing PPE and required PPE at all times. Required PPE is defined as gloves, safety glasses, and steel toe boots. Additional PPE, such as hard hats, flame-resistant clothing, hearing protection, face shields, respirators, etc, may be required depending on the specific tasks being performed or the work area.
Duties, responsibilities, and reporting relationships may fluctuate or evolve in light of your skill, experience, and the company’s needs
Qualifications & Experience
The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check is required
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish is required
1 years in structural steel in a manufacturing setting is preferred but not required
Exhibit excellent time management alongside strong reading and writing skills
Must be able to walk, stand, use hands to handle tools, reach with arms, kneel, stoop, crouch, and talk and hear in noisy environments
Must be able to regularly lift and move objects weighing up to 51 lbs independently and occasionally lift and move objects up to 100lbs with the assistance of team lifts.
The work environment is primarily indoors, and will, at times, be exposed to natural weather elements such as heat, cold, sunlight, darkness, wind, rain, lightning, snow, and dust. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Compensation and Benefits
$17.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience
