Outside Shipper - 1st Shift - Abilene Facility
Great Plains Manufacturing is currently seeking a 1st Shift Outside Shipper at our Abilene Facility.
This position works Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with overtime as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities-include the following:
- Safely load GP product on a variety of different trailers
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to maintain paperwork accuracy
- Must be able to work overtime or flexible hours on short notice
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must be open to change
- Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment
- Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed PPE as required
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills
- Strong organization and housekeeping
- Experience driving a variety of different forklifts
- Strong knowledge of Great Plains product structure helpful
- Exhibit self-motivation, positive attitude and be results oriented
- Must have a mechanical background
