Land Pride, a division of Great Plains Manufacturing, is seeking a**2nd
Shift Welder** for our**Abilene**facility in Abilene, KS.
This position works Monday through Thursday, from 4:30 p.m. to 3:00
- m., with overtime on Fridays as required.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Load fixtures and weld parts as required
- Safely use all tools necessary for the position
- Maintain inventory accuracy at all times
- Read blueprints and utilize AWS weld symbols as required for the
- Consistently achieve quality welds while staying on production
- Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications,
Preferred Skills And Qualifications
- MIG welding experience and ability to pass weld test, as required.
- Ability to give strong attention to detail and stay on-task in a
- Have a good understanding of team concepts and be a strong team
- Ability to read blueprints and recognize AWS weld symbols
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools and welding equipment
- Capable of embracing a culture of Lean Manufacturing and willing to
