Responsibilities
- Dish washing, pot & pan washing, kitchen equipment cleaning.
- Maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen areas throughout the shift.
- Various deep cleaning and maintenance projects in front and back of house.
- Maintaining service ware in a well-organized manner.
- Follow NYC Department of Health regulations.
- Support kitchen staff as needed.
Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of porter and/or dishwasher experience in a café, restaurant, or food service business.
- Strong work ethic, well organized, focused, attentive to detail, with a sense of urgency.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Enthusiastic, team player with a positive attitude.
- Able to communicate effectively with team members.
- Respectful of fellow employees, managers, and vendors.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, reach, bend, and stand throughout an 8-hour shift.
Location: Jazz at Lincoln Center
Schedule: Part-time, On-Site
Hourly Rate: $18.00-20.00/hour
Benefits: Sick Hours
