Qualifications:
High school diploma and related experience and/or training. Must possess strong knowledge of information technology hardware/software technologies and Microsoft networking functions and network topologies. Must possess a strong understanding of Windows, Apple and Google operating systems and applications.
Certifications Preferred in at least one or more of the following:
- A
- Network
- MTA: Windows Operating System Fundamentals
- Microsoft 365 Certified Fundamentals
- Microsoft Certified Educator
- Chrome OS Administrator Credential
Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Communicates effectively among different levels of individuals ranging from technical support personnel to end users and serves as liaison between applicable parties.
- Maintains daily logs and documentation of services performed.
- Implements district procedures to perform applicable duties in an efficient, timely manner.
- Maintains knowledge of PC configurations and setups
- Maintains proficiency with current Microsoft applications.
- Maintains knowledge of the latest software and hardware technologies.
- Maintains knowledge of various operating systems.
- Understands the Great Oaks network topologies and backbones.
- Troubleshoots, diagnoses and resolves hardware problems.
- Troubleshoots, diagnoses and resolves audio/visual problems.
- Troubleshoots, diagnoses and resolves software problems.
- Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves telecommunications problems.
- Troubleshoots, diagnoses and resolves basic network problems.
- Coordinates hardware and software repairs with support vendors.
- Installs and updates Microsoft and Apple products.
- Develops and maintains software images for student and instructor technologies.
- Uses various image retrieval and system creation utilities.
- Performs basic network System Administrator functions.
- Communicates and works with all components throughout the Great Oaks Information Technology Groups and vendors.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of technology utilized by the district.
- Must satisfy all job-related attendance requirements.
- A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
Availability of Position: Immediately
Salary Range: Minimum - $44,138
Placement on the salary schedule depends upon educational preparation and work experience in the field - 260-day contract.
