Job Overview
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Florence, KY, for the role of Director - Information Technology & Business Process Improvement.
Eagle Financial Services is searching for an IT Director who not only has a strong foundation in IT infrastructure but also excels in hands-on business process optimization (~DevOps). The Director will oversee a small IT team while collaborating closely with leadership and operations managers to streamline workflows, improve data accessibility, and drive digital transformation.
This role requires an individual with skills to manage corporate IT services and security while also personally developing scripts, processes, and automations that streamline processes. This position reports directly to executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Process Improvement & Solutions Development
- Analyze business processes across corporate departments such as marketing, accounting, legal, operations to identify automation and efficiency opportunities.
- Collaborate with department heads to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain custom software solutions using SQL, Python, PowerShell, and similar tools.
- Integrate generalized business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI) with custom applications, reporting, and data tools to improve efficiency.
- Guide internal SQL programmer on best practices in software development and process improvement.
2. IT Operations & Infrastructure
- Monitor and manage daily IT operations. We have a centralize HQ with nearly 100 remote locations.
- Maintain secure and reliable network.
- Ensure cybersecurity best practices.
- Negotiate vendor contracts, execution, and renewals.
- This position reports directly to executive leadership.
4. Strategy & Leadership
- Work directly with the senior management to align IT initiatives with business goals.
- Lead IT projects that deliver measurable business value. Use of Project Management and Change Management methodologies will be essential to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, automation, AI, and BI.
- Responsible for managing departmental budget and peripheral corporate expenditures.
- Negotiate contracts for cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in business terms.
- Proven experience in developing software to integrate, automate, and/or replace existing processes.
- Experience in process automation and/or business intelligence.
- Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, VMware, SANs, firewalls).
- Previous experience managing IT staff.
- Demonstrated Project Management and Change Management, with use of proven methodologies.
- Certifications (PMP, Change Management, ITIL, ERP, security, or cloud) are a plus.
