Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Stock and Shop Lead Person to oversee sprinkler inventory management, warehouse distribution, and process improvements within our operations. Duties
- Lead daily shop operations including stock replenishment, inventory control, and materials handling to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinate inventory with supervisors in the field.
- Coordinate site delivieries and logistics.
- Streamline process and items in support of field related work.
- Supervise shipping & receiving processes
- Implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize space utilization.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain precise stock levels and prevent discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations including OSHA standards; promote a culture of safety awareness among staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to shipping & receiving logs, inbound/outbound shipments, and inventory records.
- Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience with heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate mechanical aids.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for warehouse safety compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and process improvement initiatives.
