What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bank Customer Service Representative/Teller position at Great Midwest Bank?
We are currently looking for a Full Time experienced Customer Service Representative/Teller to join our team at our Bayside Branch location- 505 W. Brown Deer Rd. Qualified candidates would possess a minimum of 2-5 years of banking frontline customer service/new account experience, have a strong ability to multi-task, be very detail oriented, possess excellent internal and external customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, have the ability to identify and meet our customer service needs, and be a strong team player-leading by example.
Approximately 38-40 hours per week
· Mon – Friday 8:45-5:00p
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Process various customer financial transactions, have the ability and knowledge to open new accounts for bank customers and perform complex front-line CSR job functions.
· Ability to take initiative and utilize sound judgment in decision-making and problem resolution.
· Cross sell bank deposit products and services
· Opens/Closes the Branch: adheres to all Bank security procedures during this process.
· Assist with the completion of various daily, weekly and monthly reports as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· 2-5 years of retail frontline banking background with demonstrated CSR/teller line and new account experience
· Proven abilities of accuracy and attention to detail
· Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
· Exhibits an understanding of and compliance with applicable federal and state banking laws and regulations or obtain the ability to acquire.
TECHNICAL SKILLS, TRAININGS OR CERTIFICATIONS: Proficient in computer skills, word, excel, and core banking systems. (Fiserv Cleartouch a plus) Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to change.
