CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE/BANK TELLER OPPORTUNITY
Great Midwest Bank has an opening for a dependable, customer service oriented individual to fill a Full Time Customer Service Representative/Bank Teller position at our Southridge Office (approximately 32-35 hours per week).

We are currently looking for a customer-service orientated individual to join our team to work in our Greendale , WI location. To qualify for this position, you must have:
- Prior customer service, and/or cash handling required. Prior banking experience is preferred.
- Possess good computer skills and knowledge of basic Windows, Word and Excel.
- Have a strong ability to multi-task, be very detail oriented, and be a strong team player-leading by example.
- Excellent internal and external customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to identify and meet our customer service needs
- Proven abilities of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Exhibits an understanding of and compliance with applicable federal and state banking laws and regulations or obtain the ability to acquire.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies amount, and examines checks for endorsements.
2. Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
3. Enters customers' transactions into computer to record transactions, and issues computer generated receipts.
4. Orders daily supply of cash, and counts incoming cash.
5. Balances currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift and compares total amounts with data displayed on computer screen.
6. Explains and promotes GMB products and services and makes recommendations to customers based on listening and asking effective questions to determine customer need.
7. Removes deposits from, and counts and balances cash in night depository.
8. Accepts and processes loan payments.
9. Operates front counter image scanning machine and processes daily teller transactions.
10. Perform additional duties as needed: Online check ordering, dual control function for vault balancing , branch supply ordering, open and close the banking facility, close customer accounts, and other misc. duties.
Approximately 32 - 35 hours per week
- Work 4 weekdays (1 full weekday off per week )
- Work Saturday mornings 9a-12p
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
