Great Lakes Wine & Spirits is a growing statewide company seeking a Warehouse Clerk to work at our depot in Highland Park.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Warehouse Clerk plays a critical role in getting our product out to our customer accounts. This position must accurately print labels for cases within our Highland Park warehouse before being loaded on to delivery trucks and distributed throughout the state of Michigan. Attention to detail and safety is important to keep the warehouse and work zone cleaned and organized while operating electric pallet jack, forklifts, and other equipment.
As a part of the warehouse team, you may occasionally assist with applying the printed labels and stacking light-on-heavy cases on to pallets to ensure labels are facing out in preparation for loading on to trucks. Other duties may include but not limited to:
- Picking of product and loading on trucks for distribution.
- Floating within various zones to assist with production.
- Operating warehouse equipment with the distribution of product within the warehouse.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
The Warehouse Clerk position operates in a warehouse office environment using standard office equipment and frequently sitting at a desk. This position will be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration where the noise level can be loud. This position may occasional be active requiring to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, stoop and climb while lifting, stacking, moving, and rotating cases and other various merchandise without handles, that weigh up to 50 pounds; push/pull carts with up to 100 pounds of force.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position working 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The Warehouse Clerk may be asked to work longer hours and on Saturdays based on holiday schedule and business needs.

Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma/GED
- Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and other relevant software.

Be able to adapt and make decisions based on business needs to keep operations running effectively
Additional Requirements
- Adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee policy manual and any applicable contracts, signed agreements, and work rules.
- Cooperates with all management and staff of GLWAS.
- Follows all MLCC rules and regulations, as they apply to the position.
- Use alcohol in a responsible manner when related to business activities.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings including a full Background Check, 10-Panel Drug Test, Physical Evaluation, and Agility Test
