Responsibilities
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems and inventory management software to ensure accurate stock levels and data entry.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and preparing shipments for dispatch, utilizing RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols, ensuring proper handling of goods with equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Maintain organized storage areas by stocking shelves, labeling items clearly, and conducting regular stock counts to support inventory accuracy.
- Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying shipment details, preparing shipping labels, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations and international trade standards.
- Collaborate with warehouse operations teams to optimize logistics workflows, improve order fulfillment processes, and enhance overall warehouse distribution efficiency.
- Use ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP software for data entry, order processing, and tracking shipments throughout the supply chain.
Requirements
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or a similar logistics environment is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and shipment documentation.
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely; familiarity with pallet jacks is essential.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail; experience using RF scanners and warehouse equipment like order pickers is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Knowledge of shipping logistics, order fulfillment procedures, packaging standards, and trade compliance regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards and operational accuracy.
