Responsibilities
- Safely transport burial vaults to designated gravesites using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Prepare the site by ensuring proper alignment and foundation for vault installation.
- Install burial vaults accurately, following established procedures and safety protocols.
- Use tools such as hammers, levels, and ohmmeters to verify the integrity and proper functioning of installed vaults.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure vaults are securely positioned and meet company standards.
- Maintain detailed records of each installation, including measurements and site conditions.
- Collaborate with cemetery staff and other team members to coordinate installation schedules efficiently.
- Being able to work weekends.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with installation or construction work is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters is a plus, ensuring proper inspection of vault components.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards at all times.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
