Seasonal Delivery Driver with Great Lakes Solutions LLC - $23.00/HR +$1,000 Bonus: Temporary

This is a Seasonal Full-Time driver position with Great Lakes Solutions LLC, delivering packages for Amazon!

This temporary role will be for October 13th- January 31st with assistance of finding a full time driving position following those dates. A great opportunity to earn additional income!

Start time: 11:30AM

• Military veterans are welcome!
• Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory
• As we grow, supervisory roles will be available
• Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
• Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle, follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions
• Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions; lift packages (up to 50 lbs); get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
• Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members
• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle
• Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes

Benefits & Scheduling:

• $23.00 / hour (paid biweekly)
• $1,000 bonus - Need to complete first route by November 15th. You will be paid by check unless you elect a different form of payment, such as direct deposit. Full time employees (working 3 days or more per week up until January 31st) will be eligible for bonus paid out no later than February 28th. To be eligible, you must complete 3 or more routes per week, be fantastic on scorecard 80% or more of the weeks, deliver 95% or more of packages on route 80% or more of the time, have 3 or less call outs, along with maintaining cleanliness of vans. That includes not incurring any body damage that is determined to be at-fault of your driving
• 10-hour shifts are typical
• 4-day workweek (40 hours) is typical (minimum of 1 day on the week, more are welcomed!). We will will do our best to work with you on your schedule.
• Job runs from October 13th through January 31st
• A minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and 1 unpaid 30-minute meal break

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have held state driver’s license for at least 4 years
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening
• Must have a clean motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills

HIRING PROCESS takes approximately 1-2 WEEKS to COMPLETE.It may take longer if you have an out-of-state driver’s license.
