We are seeking a full time, detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business management or related field.
Experience with accounting and bookkeeping in a healthcare setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies
- Assist with business associate agreements, qualified services agreements, and independent contractor agreements
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information in accordance with company policies
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and account reconciliation
- Excellent analytical skills for account analysis and account reconciliation tasks
- Strong mathematical skills and understanding of financial services concepts
- Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams and supporting audit processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
