Vital part of the management team, works on supply chain, engineering, R D, QC, and production processes.
***Prior Food MFG experience is a must***
This position oversees operational activities at every level and plays a significant role in long term planning, project status reporting, and implementing change control processes, inspires leadership of the organization and maintains good quality standards for the products, productivity and efficiency of the organization.
This position will have extensive knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management, ensuring all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way, improving operational management systems, processes and best practices, and helping the organization’s processes remain legally and customer compliant.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Operations Mgmt, Engineering, or related field
- 10 years food manufacturing experience
- Wastewater Experience
- ERP - Redzone or NetSuite is helpful
- Up to date knowledge on FDA, USDA, SQF, CFIA, CODEX and local guidelines.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, data analysis, planning and organizational skills.
- Practical knowledge of budgeting, cash-flow regulation, maintaining balance sheets and monitoring the profit and loss statements.
