You are responsible for scheduling, performance evaluations, and fostering a productive, high-morale work culture. Warehouse Oversight: Manage inventory levels, conduct audits, and optimize facility layouts to enhance product flow and storage efficiency. Transportation & Logistics: Coordinate inbound and outbound freight. This includes managing driver routes, fleet maintenance, and ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA and other legal safety standards for both the warehouse floor and vehicle operations. Financial & Process Optimization: Prepare and manage departmental budgets. Utilize data-driven insights and KPIs (e.g., order accuracy, delivery speed) to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.RequirementsRequirements and Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Business Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management is preferred. A high school diploma/GED is required. Experience: 25 years of Operations Management experience, responsible for both warehouse and transportation, in a distribution, logistics, or transportation environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and strong communication skills.
