Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Operate the Square POS system for order processing and cash handling.
- Make espresso and other specialty drinks to order
- Assist customers with menu selections, upselling items to enhance their dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Check location email for catering orders and respond professionally to customers requests.
- Assist with catering orders and deliveries with other team members.
- Perform basic math calculations for order processing and inventory management.
Skills
- Strong background in food preparation and handling, with knowledge of food safety practices.
- Experience using POS systems is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items.
- Previous experience in food service, quick service, or fast food restaurant settings is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service orientation, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 32 per week
