Position Overview:
We are seeking a Garage Door Installer & Service Technician to join our team. This role involves installing new garage doors, openers, and related components, as well as diagnosing and repairing existing systems. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and customer-focused. Training is available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Install residential and commercial garage doors, openers, springs, tracks, and hardware
Diagnose and repair garage door and opener issues (springs, cables, motors, sensors, etc.)
Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections
Ensure all work meets company standards for quality and safety
Provide excellent customer service, explain repairs and installations clearly
Maintain accurate records of work completed
Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment
Follow all company policies and safety procedures
Qualifications:
Experience in garage door installation/repair preferred (but willing to train motivated candidates)
Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift 75 lbs and work on ladders/heights
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
