About the Role

What the Job Is Like
As a Ride Operator, you'll be responsible for safely running attractions and helping guests feel comfortable and ready for their ride. This includes assisting guests as they board and exit, checking seatbelts and lap bars, securing loose items, and enforcing height and safety requirements. You'll help manage lines so rides move efficiently, keep ride platforms and nearby areas clean, and communicate clearly with guests-especially those who may be nervous.
You'll also be trained to respond appropriately to ride delays, incidents, or emergencies and act as a first responder when needed. Teamwork is important here, so you'll regularly work alongside other ride operators and support other departments when the park needs it.

The environment can be fastpaced, so staying calm, following procedures, and taking direction from supervisors are key. Requirements
Applicants must be at least 16 years old and able to stay on their feet for most of their shift, including standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Strong verbal communication skills are important, as is the ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
