Duties
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through effective prospecting and lead generation techniques, including cold calling and outbound sales efforts.
- Engage with customers both in-person and over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate vehicles from our inventory.
- Negotiate terms of sale while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the buying process.
- Manage inventory control by keeping accurate records of vehicle availability and sales activity.
- Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, manage leads, and support the sales process effectively.
- Provide high-quality customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and following up post-sale to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members on marketing initiatives to promote dealership offerings and enhance visibility within the community.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and sales techniques.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales or B2B sales is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-end sales.
- Familiarity with retail math, inventory management, and organizational skills for effective operations.
- Experience in automobile sales or dealership environments is advantageous.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse clientele.
- Proficient in using CRM software for managing customer relationships and tracking sales progress.
- Excellent public speaking skills for presentations and customer interactions.
