Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on golf carts using advanced diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on mechanical systems including engines, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical components to restore optimal vehicle performance.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and assembly techniques to repair or replace faulty parts efficiently.
- Troubleshoot basic vehicle problems such as engine failure, electrical faults, or suspension issues with precision.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake adjustments, tire replacements, and general vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability.
- Repair all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), powersports engines, motorcycles, and other small recreational vehicles as needed.
- Maintain detailed service records, update repair logs, and communicate clearly with team members regarding repair progress or additional work required.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or service technician background in automotive or powersports repair environments.
- Extensive hands-on experience with automotive engine systems repair, electrical diagnostics, suspension systems, brake repair, welding, and mechanical systems repair.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and troubleshooting techniques for complex electrical and mechanical issues.
- Experience operating motorcycles or all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), with a solid understanding of powersports engine repair.
- Ability to lift heavy components safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs.
- Prior experience using soldering equipment, power tools, assembly techniques, and performing basic vehicle troubleshooting is highly desirable.
