As we continue to grow, we are seeking a National Director of Operations & Install to drive efficiency, accountability, and profitability across our markets.

As the National Director of Operations & Install, you will be responsible for overseeing the back-end operations and installation processes across multiple regions, with full profit and loss (P&L) accountability. This individual will be expected to drive profitability by running lean operations, optimizing costs, and identifying the most cost-effective installation methods and product solutions.

This role will directly manage:• Two Regional Operations & Install Managers (who oversee local installation managers)• Head Office Administrator (who oversees local office administrators)

The ideal candidate will be a proven leader in the remodeling industry with experience managing multiple offices, controlling costs, and optimizing profitability. This role requires strong process creation, operational efficiency, and leadership skills to drive Apex’s continued success.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year plus bonus potential

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and oversee the Regional Ops & Install Managers and Head Office Administrator.• Optimize operational workflows to improve speed from sale to install.• Establish, track, and enforce KPIs to ensure operational excellence and drive results.• Full P&L accountability, ensuring profitability by managing expenses, cutting inefficiencies, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.• Drive cost reduction strategies by identifying the lowest-cost, high-quality alternatives for installation labor, materials, and supporting products.• Ensure timely AR collection and implement strategies to improve cash flow.• Build and implement process systems and procedures for installation and operations teams.• Instill trust and accountability within the team, ensuring installation meets the service level we sell in the home.• Standardize training programs for regional and local managers to improve efficiency and service consistency.• Foster collaboration between sales, operations, and installation teams for a seamless customer experience.• Ensure compliance and quality control across all installation markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).• Proven experience in the remodeling or home improvement industry leading multi-site operations.• Experience managing managers across multiple markets with direct P&L responsibility.• Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze costs, control expenses, and drive profitability.• Track record of improving efficiency from sale to installation while maintaining service quality.• Ability to analyze operational bottlenecks and implement strategic solutions.• Exceptional negotiation skills to source cost-effective installation labor and materials.• Excellent leadership and team-building skills to drive a high-performance culture.• Ability to travel 50% to oversee regional and local operations.
