Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established standards, ensuring quality and freshness.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders efficiently and handle cash transactions with precision.
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with food handling duties including Setup, restocking supplies, and supporting other team members during peak hours.
- Manage time effectively to ensure quick service delivery while maintaining accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Follow all safety protocols related to food industry standards, sanitation practices, and proper cash handling procedures.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast food environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently and courteously.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
