Responsibilities:
- Help patients and families confidently navigate their insurance benefits by verifying eligibility and coverage before appointments.
- Submit insurance claims accurately and promptly, following up on outstanding claims, EOBs, and denials to ensure timely resolution.
- Clearly explain insurance benefits, treatment estimates, and out-of-pocket costs with patience, empathy, and transparency.
- Create a welcoming first impression by answering phones, greeting patients, and providing exceptional front office support whenever needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and insurance information in Dentrix with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proactively identify and resolve insurance or scheduling issues before they impact the patient experience.
- Partner closely with doctors and teammates to keep the schedule running smoothly and deliver seamless patient care.
Qualifications
- Previous hands-on experience with dental insurance verification, claims, billing, and claim follow-up (this is not an entry-level insurance role)
- Experience with Dentrix strongly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Enjoy working with children and communicating professionally with parents
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the team

Pay & Schedule:
- Pay Range: $18.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience and 30-60-and 90-day check-ins
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, four-day work week, M-Th, 7:00-4:30

- Location: In-person, Twinsburg, OH 44087. Must be able to commute or relocate before starting.
