Scope of Work: Performs advanced-level administrative, technical, and program coordination support for the Early College Programs at Nashua Community College (NCC). This position reports to the Dual Enrollment/Early College Coordinator.

Accountabilities

  • Performs advanced administrative and program support, including responding to inquiries regarding Early College programs; scheduling meetings and appointments; compiling and distributing program information; assisting with event planning; tracking materials and data; and preparing reports and correspondence.
  • Coordinates registration and orientation sessions for students, parents and high school teachers and staff.
  • Collects, maintains, and organizes Early College course curriculum documentation for the Early College in the High School Program.
  • Serves as backup to the Early College Program Coordinator, acting as the College’s primary point of contact in the coordinator’s absence.
  • Coordinates high school visit appointments and prepares materials for Early College presentations and outreach events.
  • Prepares Early College course lists and coordinates Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) course documentation with partner high schools.
  • Manages student account creation, course registration, and document tracking within the enrollment system/platform for the Early College in the High School Program.
  • Coordinates the Early College in the High School course evaluation process.
  • Collects, reviews, and processes faculty partner payment documentation, securing required approvals for timely payment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Each additional year of approved formal education may substitute for one year of required experience.

Experience: Five (5) years of progressively responsible clerical or administrative experience, including customer service responsibilities.

  • Experience with event planning
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to maintain a high standard of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with students, faculty, staff, and external partners, fostering a positive and respectful environment.

License/Certification: Valid driver’s license or reliable access to transportation for regional travel.

Recommended Work Traits

Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment. Knowledge of English, spelling and arithmetic. Knowledge of office record keeping and reporting. Ability to gather, assemble, correlate and analyze facts and identify existing or potential problems. Ability to contribute to the development of sound operational procedures. Ability to follow specific instructions in gathering facts, data, or resources in organizing required information. Ability to present ideas clearly and effectively. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Must be willing to maintain an appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by CCSNH.
