We are seeking a growth-centric, excellence-focused Advertising Sales Assistant, Direct Response to join our team. This is an onsite hybrid position at our NYC office located in New York, NY 10019 (typically onsite Tues/Wed/Thurs and remote Mon/Fri).
Job Purpose
As an essential team member supporting the Vice President of Direct Response Ad Sales, the Sales Assistant is responsible for providing end to end workflow support as well as ensuring accuracy and follow-through of order entry /maintenance and client relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately enter all orders for linear and digital advertising schedules.
- Review and process orders to ensure that all necessary paperwork is submitted for cross functional teams.
- Manage advertising copy for clients, which includes correct distribution of Traffic Instructions and client spot uploads as needed.
- Manage campaigns effectively, book and maintain inventory appropriately.
- Monitor accounts and review with sales team and Pricing and Planning to ensure client delivery.
- Effectively communicate with Account Executive on client campaign status.
- Communicate with clients to guarantee schedules run efficiently.
- Review order information, obtain proper updates from agencies, and communicate internally to ensure order details and documentation is updated and entered in the system appropriately.
- Monitor the current marketplace, ratings, and advertising trends to make informed decisions on a day-to-day basis.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in a team environment, with excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience preferred.
Working Conditions
This position is in an office environment and may require some travel. The hybrid schedule typically consists of being onsite Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday and remote Monday/Friday.
