Position Summary
Ketchikan Harbor Haus is seeking energetic, reliable Servers to join our team in an extremely fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, delivers exceptional guest service with speed and accuracy, and works collaboratively within a team-focused culture. Servers play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences for every guest.
This is a seasonal position, running from mid-April through Mid-October. Priority will be given to candidates available for the full season.
Job Duties
- Greet guests promptly and provide a friendly, professional dining experience from start to finish
- Follow established procedures to ensure quick table turns and efficient service flow
- Deliver food and beverages accurately, efficiently, and with proper presentation
- Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, responsive service during peak service periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas
- Process guest payments quickly and accurately using POS systems and proper cash-handling procedures
- Address guest concerns calmly and professionally, ensuring prompt resolution
- Work closely with kitchen staff, hosts, and fellow servers to ensure smooth service operations
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Assist with unloading, stocking, and organizing deliveries as needed
- Support setup, cleanup, and preparation between meal services
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fast-paced or high-volume restaurant required
- Strong multitasking, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and guest-focused under pressure
- High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must meet minimum age requirement of 21 years to serve alcohol
- Ability to stand and walk for 6–8 hours per shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to move quickly and safely through crowded dining and service areas
Schedule & Work Expectations
- Early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays required
- Paid training provided

- Employee housing offered to full-time employees on a first-come, first-served basis
