Position Details : Weekend Warrior Cook

Work EVERY Saturday and Sunday: 7:00 am-7:30 pm

Shift:

• 7:00 AM-7:30 PM
• Every Saturday and Sunday
• 2 days/week
• $18.00/Hour

Qualifications :

• At Least 1 Year of Cooking Experience Preferred
• Must Be Available to Work Every Weekend
• Must Be Able to Work the Full Shift: (7:00 AM-7:30 PM)
• Positive Attitude and Team-Oriented Mindset Professional, Friendly, and Respectful at All Times
• PA State Background Check required upon offer of employment.
• Reliable Transportation to work

Duties: (not exhaustive) :

• Prepare and assemble meals according to established recipes and menu plans, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Assist with menu planning by suggesting seasonal or special dish ideas that meet dietary needs and preferences. Handle food safely by following proper sanitation procedures, maintaining cleanliness in all work areas, and adhering to food safety regulations.
• Support food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing with proper knife skills, cooking, and plating dishes for service.
• Dish Washing
• Serve meals to residents or guests with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
• Maintain accurate records of food inventory levels and communicate supply needs promptly. Collaborate with the dietary department team to accommodate special diets or restrictions while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting and collaborating with colleagues.

Skills :

• Experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide
• Knowledge of food service standards
• Ability to move quickly and accurate under pressure.
• Knowledge of restaurant or fine dining experience is highly desirable for elevating meal presentation standards.
• Experience with serving large groups or managing meal service during catering events is a plus, but not a requirement.
