Known for quick approvals, competitive rates, and personalized service, our client is expanding its sales division to include a new Wholesale Broker Department. This division will focus on building and managing broker and correspondent lender relationships, enabling them to easily submit deals, obtain quotes, and close loans through our platform.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Real Estate Account Manager to join the team. This individual will play a critical role in launching and growing the broker desk, serving as the primary point of contact for broker partners. The role will involve onboarding new broker relationships, reviewing and managing incoming deals, and ensuring smooth closings in collaboration with the processing team. This is an exciting “ground floor” opportunity to shape and scale a new division, with significant potential for career growth as the department expands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for wholesale brokers and correspondent lenders.
- Onboard new broker partners, provide training on platform tools, and ensure a seamless experience for deal submission.
- Review incoming loan submissions from brokers, coordinate with processing, and manage deals through to closing.
- Proactively source and develop new broker relationships through outbound calling, networking, and relationship-building.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of broker partners to drive consistent loan volume.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve broker-facing processes, software functionality, and overall program effectiveness.
- Provide feedback and insight to leadership to help shape the growth and direction of the Wholesale Broker Department.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in wholesale mortgage lending, broker account management, or a real estate account management.
- Strong understanding of loan origination, processing, and closing workflows.
- Proven success in developing and managing broker or correspondent relationships.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and excited to be the first hire in a growing division.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
