Account Executive

You are an Account Executive. Location: Virginia, Hybrid ChangeMakers USA is looking for a rock star ready to jumpstart their career in strategic communications with a focus on reputation risk management and data intelligence. The advent of social media and its power in circulating and amplifying views can turn what feels like a minor comment into a firestorm of criticism toward a company, culture, or brand. What are your responsibilities? Communication with a diverse set of stakeholders, both internal and external  Insightful client reporting that relays online activity within our Data Intelligence practice  Reputation management (with a focus on crisis communications and risk) work, both proactive- and reactively  Support with new business efforts with Data Intelligence research   Coordinate with client-facing teams to track and troubleshoot needs as they arise.   Assistance with ad-hoc asks, whether from clients or internally – occasionally including support on nights or weekends  Other duties as assigned What Type of Qualities and Qualifications Should I Have? A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university or college  An interest in extracting insights from media monitoring and/or reporting A genuine commitment to learning, personal growth, and professional development  A hard-working, entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to grow, learn and work – including on clients’ crisis needs at potentially odd hours  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written  Ability to think on your feet and take appropriate action  Problem-solving skills. You develop, own, and improve process     Competencies  Strong organizational skills, with thorough attention to detail and ability to multi-task several time-sensitive tasks.   Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-focused, with an aptitude for spotting potential challenges on the horizon and proposing actionable solutions.   Excellent problem solving, writing and critical thinking skills; creative, resilient, and adaptable to changing priorities.   Capable of managing deadlines and executing projects in a fast-paced environment with high performance standards.   Can work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.    The USA base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000. Our salary ranges are determined by job and level. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills and knowledge, relevant experience including professional and lived experience, and/or work location. We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support our hiring process. These tools assist our hiring team but do not replace human judgment.
