At selective times, the incumbent may be called upon to perform breast ultrasound exams. He/she must produce quality diagnostic images in compliance with the MQSA and ACR guidelines. He/she is required to perform related duties in the office area. Job Requirements: Qualified candidate must be registry passed ARRT (R); registry passed Mammography (ARRT (M)); registry eligible graduate within 6 months; graduate of a program approved by the Council on Medical Education or the AMA; possess a current Washington State RT license and a current registration as a Mammography Technologist. Be in compliance with FDA MQSA Regulations - Mammography requirements (Lead designation) and be eligible for Breast Ultrasound Certification within twelve (12) months. The technologist, after performing 200 breast ultrasounds has three (3) months to be certified in breast sonography. BLS required. Possess ability to distinguish color.
