What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Assistant - Litigation and Construction position at GrayRobinson Branding?
GrayRobinson, a full-service law and government-consulting firm with 16 offices in Florida and Washington, D.C., has an immediate opening in our Tampa office for a full-time Legal Assistant with 5 years of experience in commercial litigation and/or construction law. This position provides high-level Legal Assistant and administrative support to multiple attorneys.
Ideal candidate must have exceptional computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Outlook calendar, etc.). The position also requires keen attention to detail, the ability to effectively calendar deadlines and court orders, effective proofreading, and drafting skills, demonstrated multitasking, strong organizational skills, knowledge of civil court procedures and rules of civil procedure, and the ability to work effectively with others under deadlines. Effective time management and communication skills, both written and oral, are necessary. Expertise in e-filing in state and federal courts is required.
